Holding a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture John excels in both regenerative and conventional farming practices. With his love of Australia he focussed on restoration ecology as an elective and has deep knowledge on native plants, the landscapes and there uses. Further as a qualified low and high voltage distribution electrician John boasts an impressive track record in the construction industry installing electrical infrastructure on Australia's largest gas, mining, and renewable energy sites.
John's energy expertise extended to his role as a key contributor to the Queensland Farmers Federation Energy Efficiency, and Digital IoT Smart Farm projects. He has penned numerous technical case studies, news stories, and more across most agricultural sectors on key topics. He activly participated in high-level discussions on the Land Restoration Fund, Microgrids, Purchase Power Agreements (PPA), Hydrogen, water management, and Carbon Farming methodologies.
In addition to his wide-ranging expertise, John brings hands-on experience in Fruit and tree crop production, with a specific focus on soil and plant health.
